Keep it simple silly!

Just came across this article in Sunday times, on how cool it would be if we all take things on face value..not think, ponder so much on the ulterior motives behind what people say, or do on a day to day basis..The article even explains why our human minds are programmed to ask a WHY to every damn thing that happens, because it loves to be challenged and be able to solve the tough things..

As true is the above logic, equally true is the fact that in today's world, where everything is so fast paced, where nobody has the time or the interest in unearthing the reasons behind whatever happens, and would rather enjoy a much simplified version of life atleast for sometime.. I often think of how the small joys of life are the ones that actually make me happy and bring a smile on my face that I would long to perpetually last..These small joys would include the little nothings that happen in a days time that would in solus mean nothing, but when collectively seen would equal a bagful of happiness that would definitely bring a smile on my face even when they are remembered as memories.. I remember this busy morning, when I was rushing through a busy lane, and was thinking about the jobs lying ahead for that day..and I saw this drunk man lying in front of a shop, and he had one tomato in his one hand..And not sure what, but that sight made me laugh uncontrollably in front of a bunch of strangers passing by who I am sure must have thought I am crazy to laugh like that! Ant even now when I think of that memory, I can still laugh that much just to remember that random sight..This is exactly what I am talking about..The simple joys of life, that have the tremendous potential to bring a smile on your face in the most stressful situations..Cherish them..Ctrl+S them in your mind..Create more of them..At the end of the long journey called life, it is the small joys that will stay in your mind rather than the stressful business meetings or tours that we proudly talk about..

No wonder such insights such as "Keep it simple silly" click with the audiences..Adios:)
